Terms of use
Last updated 12 October 2026
These are the rules for using BachatLo. By using the app you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do. How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.
What BachatLo is
BachatLo lists offers from restaurants, cafés and other local businesses. You claim an offer in the app and get a short code, and the business’s staff accept the code when you visit. BachatLo is free for customers.
Offers come from the businesses, not from us. The business decides the offer, its conditions, and whether it is honoured. If there is a problem with the food, service or price, take it up with the business. You can also tell us, and we will follow up with them.
Using codes
- A code expires 15 minutes after you claim it, so claim when you are at the business or about to arrive.
- Each code works once. Once staff have accepted it, it cannot be used again.
- Offers can have limits: an end date, a maximum number of claims, and a limit per person. There is also a daily limit on how many codes one person can claim from the same business.
- An offer can sell out or end at any time. If an offer with a limited number of uses sells out, a code you already hold may not be accepted.
- Codes are for you. Do not sell them or trade them.
Fair use
Please don’t:
- use scripts, bots or automated tools to claim offers or load the site;
- create accounts with numbers that aren’t yours, or several accounts to get round limits;
- try to guess, copy or fake codes;
- try to get into accounts, data or parts of the system that aren’t yours.
We may block requests, cancel codes, or close accounts that do these things.
If you run a business on BachatLo
- Be accurate. Your business details, branch addresses and offers must be true, and you must honour any valid code your staff are shown, on the terms you published.
- Check codes in the app. Accept codes only through BachatLo, so they are checked and recorded.
- Message only people who said yes. You may only send WhatsApp messages through BachatLo to customers who agreed to hear from your business. If someone asks you to stop, stop, and let us know.
- Use customer numbers only for your business. Don’t share or sell them, and don’t add people to lists they did not agree to.
- Review AI drafts. The “write it for me” tool suggests message text. You choose what to send and you are responsible for it.
- Payment. Paid plans are charged as agreed with you in writing.
We review new businesses before their offers go live, and we may pause or suspend a business that breaks these rules or gets repeated customer complaints.
Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your mobile number. Keep access to that number to yourself, because anyone who has it can sign in as you. You can ask us to close your account and delete your information at any time. See the privacy policy for how.
The service itself
We work to keep BachatLo running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. As far as the law allows, BachatLo is not responsible for losses that come from a business’s offer, from the app being unavailable, or from a code that couldn’t be used.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
